Everyone is welcome
Pack 9 welcomes every child in kindergarten through 5th grade and their family, without regard to race, color, national origin, religion, sex, gender identity, disability, or family circumstance. Cub Scouting is open to boys and girls alike.
If your child needs an accommodation to take part fully, tell us — email cubmaster@lowellpack9.org. We'd rather adapt an activity than have a Scout sit it out.
Youth protection
Pack 9 follows Scouting America's Youth Protection policies. Every registered adult leader completes Youth Protection Training and a criminal background check, and two-deep leadership means no adult is ever one-on-one with a Scout who isn't their own child.
Placeholder. Add how a parent reports a concern — who to contact in the pack, and the council's contact. Scouting America requires concerns to be reported to the council and to local authorities; state that plainly rather than implying the pack handles it internally.
Photos on this site
We publish a small, curated set of photos so prospective families can see what Scouting looks like. We only publish images of children whose families have signed the photo release included in the Scouting America youth application, we favour activity and group shots over close-ups, and we never publish a child's name alongside their photo.
To have a photo of your child removed, email cubmaster@lowellpack9.org. We'll take it down promptly and won't ask why.
Personal information
This site collects nothing. There are no forms, no accounts, no analytics, and no tracking cookies — contacting us means sending an ordinary email. Rosters, advancement records, and family contact details live in Scouting America's systems, not here.
